Heart Land Patriots to meet in June

The Van Wert County Heart Land Patriots will meet on Tuesday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m., in the Fireside Room at the Family Life Center of Trinity Friends Church, 605 N. Franklin St. in Van Wert.

The lead topic on the agenda will be the Obama Administration’s continuing war on religious liberty. Video highlights of past governmental intrusions on this critical layer of the fabric of the American experiment will be shown, and discussion will follow on how concerned citizens may give full voice to arresting any further attempts to stifle this basic human right, so diligently protected by our Founders.

All local residents who are experiencing genuine concern for the continual eroding of their Constitution-protected liberties need to be on hand for this discussion.

Plans also continue to be formulated for the Patriots’ effort to register new voters, educate all voters, and motivate a huge turnout for the November Presidential election, which, day by day, is building to be the most important election of this era.
