YWCA annual Geranium Sale now on

The annual YWCA Geranium Sale is going on now until Monday, April 29, at 9 a.m.

Geraniums are hardy root plants sold in 4½-inch pots. Colors available are red, white, lavender, fuchsia, pink and light salmon. Pots are $3 a piece.

Local residents shouldn’t miss this opportunity to beautify their yards and support the YWCA this Mother’s Day.

Geraniums will be available for pick-up Thursday, May 9, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Stop in on Friday, May 10, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., for a cash-and-carry sale of extra plants. Hanging baskets will also be available for purchase for $18 on Thursday, May 9, and Friday, May 10, while they last.

Don’t forget geraniums make the perfect Mother’s Day gift. The annual Geranium Sale supports the work of the YWCA throughout the year, including the Transitional Living and the Summer Food programs. Stop into the YWCA and place an order today.

General operating hours are Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Friday, 6:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
