Lancerland celebrates Earth Day

In preparation for prom, Lincolnview Student Council is hosting a guest speaker to share her story with the student body. On April 30, at 1 p.m., Stevie Beale will address our students. Stevie is a motivational speaker, who shares her story of tragedy and triumph with high school students as a warning about how important choices can be. After being paralyzed at 17, Stevie has dedicated her life to using her life experiences to help anyone at any point in their life. By sharing her experiences, Stevie hopes to help teens make the right decisions and have a safe and fun-filled Prom.
FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has started a chapter at Lincolnview. The first meeting was held Friday – April 19th and had over 30 HS students in attendance. The group is meeting on Friday afternoons during lunch from 12:15-12:45 p.m. Our goal is to continue this next fall. Officers are Doug Hicks, Evan Williams, and Courtney Wendel.
The Lancer Softball team is currently 7-1 in all games and 2-1 in conference play. In a recent game against Ada, senior Jodie Doner had 7 stolen bases. Her stolen bases rank 4th in state history for steals in a game. Tournament action for the team starts on May 11, with two games being played on Saturday and one each on Wednesday and Thursday. Lincolnview is hosting the tournament. Come out and watch all of our spring athletes as they work had for their teams and school.
