Danielle Hill and Ryan Wehn were united in marriage on November 3, 2012, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Valley City. Father Thomas Dunphy officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Kay Hill of Avon Lake, and the niece of Julia and Richard Gallaway of Van Wert. Thomas and Patricia Wehn of Medina are the parents of the groom.

Courtney Monastra was maid of honor; bridesmaids were Jillian Consentino, Anna Ingleright, Laura Jungerman, Sara Kelly, Audrea Oaks and Katie Wilson.

Sean Hunt was the best man; groomsmen were Bruce Garba, Eric Hill, Ben Mack, John McIntosh, Matt Monastra and Shawn Retzer.

Readings were done by Cameron Hill and soloist was Maribeth Stahl. Organist was Steven Dickson. Brandon and Chris Kulesa were greeters.

A reception was held at Coppertop in Valley City and saxophonist Jacob Bronson serenaded the guests.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Avon Lake High School. She graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition. Danielle earned post-graduate degrees from Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University. She graduated in December 2012 as a physician’s assistant and will serve as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

The groom graduated in 2005 from Medina High School and has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Bowling Green State University. Ryan is currently employed by Corrpro as a protective cathodic engineer.

The happy couple honeymooned in Mexico.

Tyler J. Leach and Audrey L. Fulton, both of Lima, exchanged wedding vows on November 10, 2011, at the Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The bride and groom are proud parents of a 2-year old son, Tyler J. Leach Jr.

Parents of the groom include Cindi Leach of Lima and the late Timothy Leach. Parents of the bride include Doug and Shelly Fulton of Lima and Debbie Mihm-Humphreys of Lima and the late John Humphreys.

Chad Aaron Hirschy and Whittany Lynann Hartman exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jenera. Officiating the ceremony was Pastor Steve Edmiston.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Lou Ann Hartman of Arlington. Whittany is a graduate of Arlington High School and Bluffton University and is currently employed as a first grade teacher at Jacobs Primary School in Findlay.

The groom is the son of Kevin and Annette Hirschy of Van Wert. Chad is a graduate of Van Wert High School and Bluffton University and is currently employed at Cory-Rawson Local School as an intervention specialist.

The Maid of Honor was Madison Hartman, the bride’s sister. The Matron of Honor was Allison Hartman, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Slye, Amanda Smith, Becky Meyer, and Erin Gillespie, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Katelyn Price, cousin of the bride, while the ring bearer was Logan Hartman, nephew of the bride.

The Best Men were Rick Ditto and Zach Smith, friends of the groom. Groomsmen were Matthew Hartman and Corey Hartman, brothers of the bride, and Craig Hirschy and Cory Hirschy, brothers of the groom.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the UNOH Event Center in Lima. The new Mr. and Mrs. Hirschy took a cruise to the Bahamas and are now residing in Jenera.

Jenna Nicole Harman and Curtis Michael Wells were married June 11, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert by Pastor Steven Harman, godparent and uncle of the bride, and Pastor Pat Schwenk, friend of the couple. Brad Dukes, a friend of the couple, read the Scripture.

Parents of the couple are Brent and Gayle Harman of Van Wert and Ron and Samantha Wells of Wauseon.

Music was provided by Joel Harman, guitarist and brother of the bride, and by Kaitlyn Wells, pianist and sister of the groom.

Jenna wore an ivory Maggie Sottero “Destiny” strapless, fit and flare organza gown with beaded embellishments, tiered A-line skirt and oversized rosette at the right hip.  She wore a handmade lace flower for her headpiece.  She carried a bouquet of lime green hydrangeas, white geraniums and navy carnations; all flowers were fashioned by Denise Wright, friend of the couple.

Matron of Honor was Jenelle Ahmad and Maid of Honor was Jenny Mooney, both friends of the bride.  Bridesmaids were Kaitlyn Wells, sister of the groom, and Katy Hogg, friend of the bride.  Flower girls were Karris Dukes, friend of the couple, and Ella Callahan, cousin of the groom.

Best man was Danny Dymarkowski. Groomsmen included Trenton Wells, brother of the groom, and friends Ben Barton and Nathan Westphal.  Ushers were Andy Dwyer and Tanner Worosher, also friends of the groom.

The reception was held at the Delphos Knights of Columbus Hall. The cake was cut by Julie Germann, aunt and godparent of the bride, and Leah Clevenger, aunt of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and now resides in Toledo.

Jenna is completing her bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy at the University of Toledo and will continue her graduate studies in the doctorate of occupational therapy program in the summer of 2012, also at the University of Toledo.  She is employed as a preschool teacher and helper at the Little Farmer in the Dell Childcare Center in Toledo.

Curtis is also a student at the University of Toledo and is a member of the Ohio Army National Guard.  He is employed at Black Swamp Equipment in Wauseon.

Shea Lynn McConahay and Nathan William Crass were united in marriage on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert. Mike Marette, friend of the groom, officiated at the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Kelly and Mickey McConahay of Ohio City, while the groom’s parents are Steve and Darla Crass of Peninsula.

Grandparents of the bride are Barbara Steptoe of Ohio City, and Shirley Couts, Mr. and Mrs. Dan McConahay and Audrey Speakman, all of Van Wert.

Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Doug Speakman, great-uncle of the bride, as well as a vocal duet by Steve and Austin Crass, father and brother of the groom respectively, accompanied by Nathan Hearns, brother-in-law of the groom.

The altar area was decorated with vases of yellow and white carnations.

The bride wore Diamond White silk in a fit and flare gown with an A-line silhouette. The strapless sweetheart neckline had diagonal ruching on the bodice ending at a scalloped lace band adorned with crystals, rhinestones and metallic beads. A row of self-fabric buttons covered the back zipper. The bride wore dangling rhinestone earrings and bracelet, along with golden yellow shoes.

The bride’s veil was single-tier, finger-tip length, while she held a bouquet of yellow garden roses, white majolica spray roses, white lisianthus, yellow freesia, billy balls and solidago wrapped in pewter satin ribbon.

The Maid of Honor was Katie Lautzenheiser of Pembroke Pines, Fla., friend of the bride. She was an Adrianna Papell cocktail-length print overlay dress, with a sheer floral-print overlay in multi colors of pale blue, gray and golden yellow. It had a ruched, surplice bodice, inset waistline and a full pleated skirt. Accessories included golden yellow glass earrings and bracelet, which were gifts from the bride, along with matching golden yellow shoes. Her bouquet consisted of pale yellow roses, yellow spray roses, green berries and yellow button mums, wrapped in pewter ribbon.

The bridesmaids included Leah Schaffner of Columbus, Sarah Plas of Van Wert and Renee Solomon of Columbus, all friends of the bride, along with Morgan Hearns of Huntersville, N.C., sister of the groom. All were dressed the same as the maid of honor.

The groom wore a two-button charcoal gray tailored wool suit, with a yellow and blue striped tie and a boutonniere of a pale yellow rose, yellow button mums and Italian ruscus.

The Best Man was Andrew Stocker of Pittsburgh, cousin of the groom, and he and the groomsmen were dressed in suits similar to the groom, with coordinating ties. The best man and groomsmen wore boutonnieres of yellow button mums and Italian ruscus.

Groomsmen were Austin Crass of Columbus, brother of the groom; Simon Crass of Charleston, S.C., brother of the groom; Martin McConahay of Austin, Texas, brother of the bride; and Nathan Hearns of Huntersville, N.C., brother-in-law of the groom.

The flower girl was Regan Hearns, niece of the groom, who wore a golden yellow sundress with white leather sandals, and carried a basket of various shades of yellow rose petals, which she sprinkled along the aisle.

Guest book attendees included Kerry Gudakunst of Grover Hill, aunt of the bride; and Valier Philips of Austin, Texas, friend of the bride.

Other that participated in the ceremony included Gabrielle and Gracie Gudakunst of Grover Hill, nieces of the bride, who distributed programs for the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Willow Bend Country Club in Van Wert, with Dr. Dennis and Cheryl Miller, aunt and uncle of the bride, acting as host and hostess.

The bride receives a Master of Arts degree in school counseling from The Ohio State University in June 2011. The groom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in consumer and financial education in June 2010 from Ohio State and is employed as an investment specialist for Vanguard in Charlotte, N.C.

The couple honeymooned in Mexico and will reside in Fort Mills, S.C.

Bill Marshall and Karen Sheets Martin were married July 3, 2011 at Willow Bend Country Club. Pastor Rita Bair of Convoy Trinity Lutheran Evangelical Church officiated the ceremony.

Bill is the son of the late Clifford and Lata Marshall. Karen is the daughter of Viola M. Sheets and the late Carl L. Sheets.

Bill and Karen are 1963 graduates of Crestview High School. Bill is a business owner and Karen is a retired high school educator.

They plan to share time between their homes in Southern California and Columbus.

A honeymoon will be enjoyed at Mackinac Island and Niagara Falls, with a cruise planned for later this year.
