May 14 1:45 p.m. — Christopher Doenges, 16, of Middle Point, was charged with assault for allegedly assaulting another student at LifeLinks Community School, 205 W. Crawford St. in Van Wert.

May 14, 3:06 p.m. — Jeremy L. Lindeman, 31, of 908 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant issued in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court.

May 13, 6:15 p.m. — James E. Mihm Jr., 18, of 12580 Union Pleasant Road, was cited for possession of marijuana as a result of a traffic stop in the city.

May 11, 10:23 p.m. — Vincent M. Moreland, 19, of 12970 Sunset Drive, was cited for underage possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of an incident near the intersection of Washington Street and Johnson Avenue.

May 10, 6:48 p.m. — Joshua R. Campbell, 32, of 666 N. Washington St., was arrested on a warrant issued in Celina and also was cited for driving while under a license suspension as a result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of West Ervin Road.

May 10, 11:27 p.m. — Khrstyn M. Somerton, 23, of 421 E. Crawford St., was charged with theft as a result of an incident at the local Walmart Supercenter, 301 Towne Center Blvd.

May 11, 10:41 a.m. — Andrew L. Thomas, 31, of Ohio City, was charged with theft after he was allegedly seen taking scrap metal from property owned by Dilly Door off Westwood Drive.

May 12, 8:31 p.m. — Brandyn L. Bloomfield, 28, of 639 N., Franklin St., Apt. 1, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as driving while under a license suspension.

May 8, 1:36 a.m. — William L. Estle, 26, of rural Ohio City, was charged with theft for allegedly taking an automotive motor from England’s Bay Auto Repair, 1184 Westwood Drive.

May 10, 11:01 p.m. — Lester E. Sulfridge Jr., 54, of 816 Elm St., Apt. 1, was charged with a third-degree felony charge of operating a vehicle while impaired, and also cited for driving while under a license suspension.

Warren, 22, of 103 Daniel St., Apt. 27, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia as a result of an incident at AEP Electric, 690 N. Cherry St.

May 2, 6:44 p.m. — Alisha M. Stemen, 21, of 209 S. Chestnut St., was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and was also arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court as a result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of West Ervin Road.

May 1, 11:30 a.m. — Vantage staff members turned over suspected drugs to a Van Wert officer who was at Vantage for an unrelated incident.

April 30, 3:14 p.m. — US Bank reported a theft by deception incident that included the loss of $1,644.58 in purchased items, ATM withdrawals and bank fees. The incident is under investigation.

May 4, 1:06 a.m. — Darius Lomack, 23, of Delphos, was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident that occurred in the 800 block of West Skinner Street. Additional charges are also pending in the case.

April 26, 10:01 p.m. — Austin E. Davis, 19, of 404 Neel Ave., was charged with domestic violence as a result of an incident at his residence.

April 27, 12:51 a.m. — Trevor V. Ball, 22, of Decatur, Ind., was charged with disorderly conduct as a result of an incident at Quail Run Apartments in Van Wert.

April 25, 12:33 p.m. — Joseph A. Edwards, 19, of 626 Center St., and two 15-year-old juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct as a result of an incident at Van Wert High School.

April 28, 2:56 p.m. — An investigation continues into an alleged stabbing incident that occurred in the 1100 block of Elida Avenue. Officers were called to the scene of an altercation in which one person was accused of stabbing the other with an insulin needle by another person involved in the scuffle. Delphos EMS was dispatched, but the person stabbed refused medical treatment. A detective was also dispatched and an investigation of the incident remains ongoing.

April 26, 4:41 p.m. — Steven A. Pierce, 21, of 239 N. Jefferson St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Van Wert Municipal Court for failure to appear for a court hearing.

April 25, 10:37 p.m. — Mark R. Rachpaul, 18, of 233 Thistlewood Court, was charged with underage consumption while in Fountain Park. Rashanna D. Henry, 20, also of 233 Thistlewood Court, was cited for underage possession of alcohol.

April 25, 12:33 a.m. — Atheer L. Khalasani, no age listed, of 309 N. Wayne St., was charged with misdemeanor theft for taking a deposit bag belonging to Klosterman’s Pizza, 1017 E. Main St., that contained approximately $30 in cash.

April 23, 6:55 p.m. — Stephanie J. Semer, 26, of 502 S. Chestnut St., was charged with theft as a result of an alleged shoplifting incident at the local Walmart Supercenter, 309 Towne Center Blvd.
