VW girls bowling team wins

CELINA – The Van Wert Lady Cougar bowling team recorded its first win of the season in Celina against the Minster Wildcats.

The Cougars started out strong, gaining a huge advantage of 371 pins after the regular games. In the baker games it was the same story, with the Cougars gaining 152 more pins to take the win on the day, 2253-1730.

High scores for the Cougars were seniors Taylor Beair, 188; and Tyler Metzger, 179; junior Britney Myers, 177; and aophomore Kylie Allenbaugh, 178.
