VW swimmers split with Kenton

KENTON – Van Wert’s girls and boys swim teams visited Kenton at the Hardin County YMCA pool.  The boys’ team defeated Kenton by a score of 89 to 76.  The girls were defeated by Kenton, 96-67.

First place finishers were Brittany Jurczyk (200 freestyle), Taylor Grooms (200 individual medley, Cody Hanes (200 and 500 freestyle), Trey Stemen (200 IM), Eric Easley (50 freestyle) and Hanes, AJ Foster, Stemen, and Adam Saylor (400 freestyle relay).
