Balyeat Avenue house fire

No one was apparently injured in a house fire that occurred at 208 Balyeat Ave. Sunday evening. According to reports at the scene, residents of the dwelling came home and opened the door, only to find smoke pouring out of the structure. A 9-1-1 call was received at 7:20 p.m. and Van Wert firefighters were on the scene in minutes. More information will be published as it becomes available.
