Joanne Krywalski

Joanne Krywalski, 80, of Van Wert, died at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born May 22, 1930, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Roy and Maude (Allison) Hartman. In 1983, she married Daniel Krywalski, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2002.

Mrs. Krywalski was employed at the former Teleflex Corporation as a press operator for 30 years. She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 Auxiliary, VFW National Home for Children, and American Legion Post 178 Auxiliary, and also belonged to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include a sister, Joyce Cross of Delphos.

Four sisters, Josephine McGinnis (twin sister), Ruth Sharky, Betty Cooper and Norma May, and eight brothers, Berle and Bernard (twins), Bill, Stan, Bob, Zack, Don and Charles Hartman, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 10, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, January 9, at the funeral home, followed by a VFW Auxiliary memorial service at 6 that evening.
