Larry J. Verfaillie

Larry J. Verfaillie, 58, of Paulding, died at 2:26 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011, at his residence after an extended illness.

He was born December 28, 1952, the son of the late Frank J. and Evelyn G. (Eagleson) Verfaillie. On September 10, 1994, he married Ladonna L. (McCoy) Bechtol Verfaillie, who survives.

Other survivors include two stepdaughters, Michelle Bechtol of Defiance and Amy Bechtol of Sherwood; and three stepgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Gregory Bibler officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Hospice or Ladonna Verfaillie.
