VW Elks donate to child safety program

Van Wert Lodge 1197, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, recently donated $150 to the Officer Phil safety program.

This safety program, which is provided to all the Van Wert City Elementary School children is run in conjunction with the Van Wert City Police Department, provides children with information to help keep them safe, as well as to reinforce the proper actions to take if confronted with a problem.

Van Wert Elks Lodge is proud to help sponsor this important program and has been a sponsor each year since the program was started in Van Wert.
