The ribbon was cut Friday to officially welcome Emme Lu’s Pet Wellness Center to Van Wert. The store, located at 706 W. Ervin Road, Suite C, offers a number of pet-related items, such as quality pet food, pet clothing, holistic diet supplements and treats, as well as a “self-serve” dog wash. The store, which opened in mid-September 2010, is offering some specials as part of its official open house and is also running a promotion for the local animal shelter. Emme Lu’s will exchange a regular five-pound bag of dog food for a bag of the store’ quality dog food and then donate the customer’s food to the shelter.
