New club officers all familiar faces

All of the new Camera Club officers have, or are continuing to hold,  leadership roles in the club.  Jodi Hattery will step up to the president’s position and Doug Heckler will serve as vice president while continuing to be the club’s representative on the Wassenberg’s board.  Karl Gribler has agreed to stay on as treasurer.  He has consistently done a good job finding ways to generate funds to support club needs, club awards  and ribbons and refreshments for the October Photography Exhibit, as well as the awards for Van Wert County Fair photography best of show winners.  Rex Dolby will start his ninth year serving as the club’s secretary. With that much experience, the club should be in good hands for another year.

People having questions about their photography equipment, or the subject of photography, who plan to attend the club’s free and open meeting at 7 p.m., Thursday, January 22, at the Art Center, are reminded that they should bring their owner’s manual for the equipment in question.  Although there is a good probability that someone in the club can answer the question, there are so many makes and models out there, we may not have the answer.  If we can’t find it in the owner’s manual, we have a plan B, which is to do a search on the Internet.

Also to be noted is the fact that young photographers who may attend the meeting must be accompanied by an adult.  With the driveway only wide enough for one car and it being dark, we don’t want a youngster hurt for any reason.

We won’t judge your questions in any way and hope you won’t either and withhold a question you really want to ask. We hope to see you on the 22nd  to receive those answers.
