The Peony Pageant Committee held a meeting Sunday afternoon with this year’s Peony queen candidates. Candidates for this year include (front row, from the left) Hillary Ludwig of Lincolnview, Amelia Wiseman of Vantage Career Center and Abby Evans of Parkway; (back row) Lauren Holtsberry of Wayne Trace, Kaitlin Relyea of Paulding, Renee Chen of Van Wert and Mari Young of Crestview. Absent for the photo was Korey Boggs of Delphos Jefferson. The pageant will be held this year on Friday, April 1, in the Marsh Foundation Auditorium, starting at 7:30 p.m., said Pageant Director Kylie Mills. Tickets will go on sale at Derry Drugs on March 1.
