Julia Hamilton (center) is shown signing local documents for a $20,000 microenterprise loan she will use to purchase equipment and inventory for a new business, Something from the Garden, she will operate from a farmhouse on U.S. 224, just east of the intersection with U.S. 127. The loan comes from the Van Wert Revolving Loan Fund. Hamilton said her business, which she hopes to have open by May of this year, will provide fresh-cut flowers and fresh produce to local residents throughout the summer.
