Exam to be held for city firefighter

The Civil Service Commission of Van Wert will hold a competitive examination to create an eligibility list for the post of Van Wert firefighter at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Vantage Career Center in Van Wert.

All those wanting to take the examination must file an application with the Van Wert Fire Department at the Municipal Building, 515 E. Main St. on or before 9 a.m. Friday, February 18.

Application blanks are available at the Fire Department watch room, located on the first floor of the Municipal Building on the southeast side of the building during regular business hours.
