George Arthur Bright Jr.
George Arthur Bright Jr., 67, of Antwerp, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Manor House Assisted Living in Antwerp.
He was born October 5, 1943, in Paolo, Kan., the son of the late George A. and Ester F. (Latham) Bright Sr. In 1990, he married Carolyn S. (Brown) Bright, who preceded him in death in May 2001.
Survivors include two children, Debra Sue (James) Evans of Ohio City and Lonnie Smith of Cecil; three stepchildren, Raymond (Rachelle) Durham and Rodney (Barb) Durham, both of Paulding, and Becky Hampshire of Bryan; three sisters, Jo Ann Fuller of Tacoma, Wash., Nannette Arleen (Edward Ray) Cox of Choctaw, Okla., and Roberta Jean (Franklin) Borror of Garnett, Kan.; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
A sister, Janeva Moser, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, February 7, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with military rites performed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5087. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Defiance.
Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
