Edna P. Leonard

Edna P. Leonard, 90, of Scott, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born October 13, 1920, in Oak Hill, the daughter of the late John L. and Eva N. (Clark) McCain. She married Edwin H. “Perk” Leonard, who preceded her in death on January 19, 1987.

Survivors include two children, Karen (Larry) Fleck of Longmont, Colo., and Sheila Vaughn of Scott; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Rhea Kesler; three brothers, Dewey, John and Alard McCain; and a sister, Clarene McCain, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 11, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery.

Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 10, at the funeral home.
