Harry A. Phlipot
Harry A. Phlipot, 81, of Paulding, died Monday, February 7, 2011, at the Gardens of Paulding.
He was born February 20, 1929, in Paulding, the son of the late Harry H. and Cora E. (Strabele) Phlipot. On May 2, 1953, he married Doris M. (Hatfield) Phlipot, who survives.
Other survivors include five children, Anne (Raymond) Hershey of Akron, Thomas (Pam) Phlipot of Quincy, Mich., John (Sue) Phlipot of Sylvania, Michael (Sue) Phlipot of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sharon (Dick) Thomas of Defiance; a brother, James R. (Marilyn) Phlipot of Bonne Terre, Mo.; and 13 grandchildren.
A son, Mark Phlipot, also preceded him in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 12, at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, with Father G. Allan Fillman officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 11, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, where a Rosary service will be held at 7:30 that evening.
