Re-romance in the air

A couple who divorced after years of being together took another stab at marriage in a Valentine’s Day ceremony officiated by Van Wert Municipal Court Judge Jill Leatherman. Dave and Lori Burnett, who married June 4, 1986, after being together for a decade before that, divorced in 2003, but said they couldn’t stay apart and decided to remarry this year. The re-Mrs. Burnett said it was her husband who decided that it would be nice to marry on Valentine’s Day this time. The couple’s two children said it was about time their parents decided to remarry.
