Marceile J. Tuohy
Marceile J. Tuohy, 90, of Defiance, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Community Health Professionals’ Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born August 16, 1920, in Dupont, the daughter of the late Dorr B. and Ethyl M. (Bair) Dimock. In 1946, she married Victor R. Tuohy, who preceded her in death on March 13, 2008.

Mrs. Tuohy was a member of the former St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Junction and its Altar Rosary Society.
Survivors include a son, Dennis R. Tuohy of Defiance; three daughters, Carol (James) Birkemeier of Ottawa, Mary (Jerry) Price and Cheryl (Al) Tennyson, both of Defiance; 11 grandchildren, Jeff (Robin), Chris (Matt Kraeger), Julie and Cari Birkemeier, Kim (Dave) Butler, Angie (Tim) Wolford, Tracy (Wes) Brigner, Jill (Shawn) Provines, Kelly (Aaron) Hopson, Cindy (John) Stever and Trisha (Brad) Schlachter; 20 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Ed (Carolyn) Dimock of Napoleon, and Faye Kamphaus and Donna (Nolan “Tucker”) Shisler, both of Oakwood.
Four brothers, Darold “Doc” Dimock, Paul Dimock, Harold “Bud” Dimock and Carl Dimock; six sisters, Thelma Bradford, Maxine Clark, Ada Squires, Eileen Myers, Betty Corey and Marlene Foos; and a grandson, Steve, also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 21, at St. John Catholic Church in Defiance, with Father Jacob Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Defiance.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, February 20, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, and hour prior to services Monday at the church.
