VWCH add medical imaging hours

Van Wert County Hospital Department of Medical Imaging is pleased to announce an increase in its hours of service. Beginning this week, patients requiring a variety of Ultrasound tests have the option of making evening, Saturday or Sunday appointments. MRI hours have already included evening and Saturday appointments, with appointments available every day throughout the week.

In addition, on Saturday, March 26, Van Wert County Hospital will be hosting a mammogram and DEXA scan day. For women who are unable to find the time during the week for these crucial tests, now is the time to make an appointment. In addition to Digital mammograms, DEXA scanning will also be available on that Saturday. DEXA scanning is the most commonly used test for measuring bone mineral density, one of the most accurate ways to diagnose Osteopenia or Osteoporosis.
