Jeffery L. Davis

Jeffery L. “Jeff” Davis, 55, of Venedocia, died at 11:08 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born February 1, 1956, in Van Wert, the son of the late Walter and Jessie (Carnahan) Davis. On November 17, 1978, he married Cindy (Kiracofe) Davis, who survives in Venedocia.

Other survivors include a son, Brett Davis of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one daughter, Renae (Scott) Eversole of Delphos; two brothers, Jim (Denise) Davis of Venedocia and Jerry (Victoria) Davis of Buckland; and one granddaughter.

A brother, Johnny Davis, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 20, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. John Marbaugh officiating. Burial will be in Venedocia Cemetery.

Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Saturday, February 19, and an hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home.
