Airport Authority plans special meeting

The Van Wert County Regional Airport Authority has scheduled a special meeting for this evening at 5:45 p.m. at the airport.

Purpose of the meeting is to discuss the Wheels-N-Wings event to be held at the airport, which is leased from the City of Van Wert, and to decide by vote on the request of application for a one-day permit to sell beer at the Wheels-N–Wings event between 3 and 10 p.m. Saturday, May 21.

The agenda includes a discuss between Airport Authority board members and invited guests, which will include representatives from Elks Lodge 1197 in Van Wert and the Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as City Law Director Greg Unterbrink.
