Joseph W. Feasby

Joseph W. Feasby, 51, of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., died Tuesday evening, February 22, 2011, in Mt. Pleasant.

He was born August 5, 1959, in Van Wert, the son of Bill A. Feasby, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Shirley Sue Feasby.

Mr. Feasby was an electronics technician for Win Telecom in Mt. Pleasant. He had served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years and was an avid walker.

In addition to his father, survivors include his stepmother, Alice Feasby of Van Wert; a brother, Tim (Rhonda) Feasby of Fort Myers, Fla.; two stepsisters, Penny (Charlie) Buckmaster and Jennifer (Mike) Holmes, both of Spencerville; and a nephew, Kyle Feasby of Convoy.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 27, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with graveside military rites performed by the combined honors units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both of Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, February 26, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: The Salvation Army or a charity of the donor’s choice.
