New criteria for Flowers in Full Bloom

The 11th annual Flowers in Full Bloom Award Committee has decided to make minor changes to the nomination process in order to expand and reach a wider array of women. The requirements have been modified to the following:

• Nominees must be 65 years of age to qualify for award
• Van Wert County residents
• Have had past or present involvement in the community, church, family, etc.
• Not been granted award in the past

The committee is still seeking nominees. Those wanting to pick up a nomination form can do so at Van Wert Manor or Van Wert Senior Center or by calling 419.238.6655 (Meghan Dicke) or 419.238.5011 (Therese Marshall). Nominating deadline is set for Monday, March 28.
