Knights working hard
By Drew Strawser
With Crestview starting school late because of the renovation and missing so many days due to snow, as of right now Crestview will be going to school until June 16. Also because of this the Knights went to school last Saturday and will also be going Saturday March 19. On the topic of going to school on Saturdays, Senior Clay Nofer said, “I’m glad that were coming to school on Saturday because it allows us to get out earlier than if we didn’t go on Saturday.” Phillip Karges said, “Going to school on two Saturdays in March will be a lot better than going to school in the summer. I would like to be able to enjoy the summer and not go right from high school to college.” Even though we will be coming to school on two Saturdays we still need to get down to business. Going to school on the weekend is a lot better than going to school farther into the summer.
Wednesday, March 2, the elementary kindergarten and first grade had their one hundredth day of school. Each student was to bring in 100 items that they counted the night before. This was a way that the students could learn and have fun at the same time. Crestview senior Doug Rhoades said, “This was a way that the kids could show that they are interested in learning and have fun while learning how to count to 100.”
