Venedocia Lions announce fundraiser

VENEDOCIA — The Venedocia Lions Club will be sponsoring its annual “all you can eat” Pancakes & Sausage Day on Saturday, March 19. Serving that day will be from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Venedocia Lions building in Venedocia.

Cost for the meal is $6 for those over 12 years old, $3 for children ages 4-12 and free for children 3 and under. Carryout meals are also available, while bulk sausage will also be sold for $6 for a 2-pound package.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for various Venedocia Lions Club community projects, including scholarships for Lincolnview and Spencerville high school seniors, and support for local 4-H clubs, Buckeye Boys and Girls State, Lincolnview Band Boosters and the Spencerville High School concession stand.

Venedocia Lions also are accepting used eyeglasses to be used for Lions Club International projects. Those wanting to donate eyeglasses can place them in the donation box at the Lions Club building on March 19.
