Prescription drugs collected

Van Wert County Sheriff Stan D. Owens has advised that, during the first two weeks of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Prescription Drug Initiative, 50½ pounds of prescription drugs (shown above) have been turned over to the sheriff’s department for disposal. The program runs until April 30. Prescription drugs can be dropped off at the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department, 113 N. Market St. in Van Wert. (Sheriff’s Dept. photo)
