Lima area swim coaches give out honors

LIMA – The Lima Area Swim Coaches Association has made its All Lima Area selections for the 2010-2011 high school swimming and diving season.  Nineteen (19) girls and eighteen (18) boys received All Lima Area Swimming and Diving Honors from the 22 member schools.  An additional eleven (11) girls and eleven (11 boys received Special Mention Honors and 38 girls and 48 boys received Honorable Mention Honors.

“Swimmer of the Year” honors were awarded to Emily Murphy of Shawnee for girls and to Erik Risolvato of Shawnee for boys.

“Diver of the Year” honors were awarded to Olivia Schlotterer of Celina for girls and Logan Bauer of Botkins for boys.

In addition, “Coach of the Year” honors were awarded to Jeff Brown of Shawnee, for both the “Girls Coach of the Year” and “Boys Coach of the Year.”
