Ronnie L. Cooper

Ronnie L. Cooper, 52, of Bryan, died at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Bryan Community Hospital.

He was born December 7, 1958, in Van Wert, the son of Gary Cooper and Rosemary (Smith) Cooper, both of whom survive in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a son, John Cooper of Bryan; one brother, Rod Cooper of Middle Point; a sister, Sandy (Dave) Clayborn of Delphos; and five nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Mary Ann Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Ridge Township, Van Wert County, with graveside military rites performed by the combined honors units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
