Knight boys win tri-meet, girls 2nd

CONVOY — The Crestview Knights hosted a tri-meet with the Lincolnview Lancers and Ottoville Big Green, with the Knight boys taking first place and the girls second place in the event. The Lancers finished third in both the boys’ and girls’ meets, with Ottoville first in the girls’ meet and second in the boys’ meet.

Individual event winners for Crestview were:

Girls – Layne Callow in the 400-meter dash, Erika Frey in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, the 4×200-meter relay team (Frey, Layne Callow, Grace Callow, Ami Callow) and the 4×400-meter relay team (A. Callow, Courtney Perrott, Frey, L. Callow).

Boys – Logan Rayer in the 100- and 200-meter dashes Joel Genter in the 1600-meter run, Garret Glecker in the 3200-meter run, Zach Merkle in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles, Chase Walters in the shotput, the 4×100-meter relay team (Collin Thompson, Gabi Palacios, Seth Mendenhall and Nick Cunningham), 4×200-meter relay team (Thompson, G.
