Camera Club selling discount cards

The Wassenberg Camera Club is again selling $5 Food Discount Cards, which are good till April 2012.  Proceeds from the sales will help the club pay its expenses for the Wassenberg Annual October Photography Exhibit.

One might ask what they will get from the 20 area businesses which include 12 in Van Wert, two each in Delphos, Lima, and Wapakoneta, and one each in Ohio City and Celina.  Six locations offer 10 percent off food items or the bill.  Five businesses offer free baked items with an order.  Three places offer free drinks of varying sizes with an order, and another three provide free or reduced priced ice cream products.  Two establishments offer free french fries and one gives a dollar off a pizza order.

The cards are available from Camera Club members and at the Wassenberg Art Center Office.  Anyone wanting more specific information about what the card provides may call 419.238.4545 or the Wassenberg Art Center at 419.238.6837.

The club’s next meeting is Thursday, April 14, at 7 p.m. at the Art Center.  Seasons will be the theme for competition that evening.  Participants may enter three slides or three 4×6 prints for a dollar.  To encourage every one to participate, those not entering the competition are expected to put a dollar in the No Show cup.
