Sally Jo Moser
Sally Jo Moser, 69, of Van Wert, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born July 4, 1941, in Lima, the daughter of Delores (Moening) Shafer, who survives in Lima, and the late Carl “CD” Shafer. On July 3, 1976, she married Gerald “Gerry” Moser, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Moser was retired and had worked at Life Star Rescue as an office manager.
Survivors include two children, John E. (Amy) Ryder of Van Wert and Chad J.C. (Jessica) Brown of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two stepchildren, Melinda S. (David) Hufford of Indianapolis, Ind., and Julie Ann (Paul) Fulghum of Fort Wayne; a brother, David (Denise) Shafer of Bluffton; four grandchildren, Nicholas James Ryder of Van Wert, and Kayda Jo, Carson Chad and Chase David Brown, all of Fort Wayne; three stepgrandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Hufford of Indianapolis and Jacob P. and Natalie C. Fulghum, both of Fort Wayne; and a great-grandson, Elijah Brooks Ryder of Van Wert.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, April 11, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Steve Savage officiating.
Calling hours are from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial: Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
