Convoy announces 3rd planning session

CONVOY — Convoy village officials have scheduled a third planning meeting for all village residents at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the Edgewood Park community building, 643 N. Main St. in Convoy.

This meeting will be with grant writer Ron Putoff, who will review results of the recent village survey in conjunction with the grant application through the Community Development Block Grant Revitalization Program funded through the state.

This meeting is to involve the residents in the planning for some future needs of the village and is the third of five meetings to be held as one of the requirements of the grant. Having a large number of village residents sign in will help with the grant scoring, as it would show the grant review board that village residents are willing to participate in planning for the future. A significant number of village residents participating in the meetings will not only help the village with this grant application process, but would also aid the possibility of doing more projects in the village.
