Young Riders 4-H Club meets in April

The Young Riders 4-H Club had a meeting on April 3. Club members talked about setting a date to repair the Junior Fair Horse Arena. Members said they were going to paint the fence and repair posts and boards and also brought up about putting water at both ends of the Junior Fair Horse Barn.

After members were done they wrote “thank you” cards to people that donated to the Young Riders 4-H tack auction. The club also thanked last year’s officers.

At this meeting the club voted for this year’s officers, who include Jessica Burger, president; Lindsey Motycka, vice president; Tianna Rager, treasurer; Erica Priest, secretary; and Paige Motycka, health and safety officer.

The next meeting will be held May 2 at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds.
