Groups offer outdoor education sessions

Turkey Federation will be offering an outdoor educational program for local young people. The program will be held at Rotary Park and Van Wert City Reservoirs on Saturday, April 30.

Registration will begin at 10:30 that morning, with educational sessions beginning at 11 a.m. Highlights of the day activities will include fishing canoe safety, BB gun target and safety lessons, bow and arrow target and safety lessons and the Raptor Lady — see an owl or eagle up close and hear facts about these beautiful birds.

There will also be a free lunch, give-a-ways and door prizes.
