Senior citizens banquet tickets on sale

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Senior Citizens’ Day banquet, to be held Tuesday, May 17, at the Van Wert Senior Center, 220 Fox Road in Van Wert.

Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and the meal will be served at 11:30 a.m. that day. The 2011 senior citizen king and queen will be announced before musician Tom Rupert entertains the audience.
