First crop of spring!

Wind turbines are the first crop to sprout up this year, as Horizon Wind energy has constructed a number of the 400-foot-tall behemoths in southern Paulding County, with plans to have them operational by this summer. Iberdrola's Blue Creek Wind Farm will begin bringing in equipment in May for its Van Wert County turbines. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
