Anthony R. Clouse
Anthony R. “Tony” Clouse, 67, of Knoxville, Tenn., died at 6:25 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the Ft. Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville from complications of cancer diagnosed in 2009.
He was born July 25, 1943, in Van Wert, the son of Marge H. (Severn) Clouse, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Regis W. Clouse, who died July 25, 1991.
Survivors include a special friend, Judy, and her two daughters; a son and a daughter; one brother, Steven K. Clouse of Spokane, Wash.; a sister, Carol (Roger) Mengerink of Van Wert; two grandchildren; three aunts; an uncle, and several cousins, a niece and two nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, April 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. William Haggis officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point, with graveside military rites performed by the combined honors units of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both of Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at the funeral home.
