Hulda Delores Carlisle

Hulda Delores Carlisle, 79, of Oakwood, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the Gardens of Paulding.

She was born March 19, 1932, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Andrew T. and Viola Mae (Cotterman) Gilbert. On February 26, 1949, she married Raymond G. Carlisle, who preceded her in death on June 15, 1992.

Survivors include nine children, Raymond (Patricia) Carlisle and W. Tom (Linda) Carlisle, both of Paulding, Joseph (Barbara) Carlisle of Mark Center, Steve (Danett) Carlisle of Cecil, John Carlisle of New Haven, Ind., Daniel (Helen) Carlisle of Oakwood, Tony (Amy) Carlisle of Melrose, Ruth Ann (Jerry) Warner and Cynthia (Joe) Shipley, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a special friend, Jack Vance of Paulding; three brothers, Andrew (Ruth Ann) Gillett of Van Wert, Leroy (Barbara) Gillett of Bryan and John Gillett of San Diego, Calif.; three sisters, Bernetia Verfaillie of Paulding, Roberta Norling of Oakwood and Lulah (Dick) Miller of Edon; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A daughter, Bonnie Sue Carlisle, and two sisters, Lydia Price and Faith Taylor, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be in Bowholtz Cemetery in Jackson Township.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, April 28, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
