Charles Wayne Small

Charles Wayne Small, 76, of Convoy, died at 4:22 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born June 5, 1934, in Dixon, the son of the late Wilbur and Mildred (Elmmon) Small. His significant other, Ramona Heath, preceded him in death on March 17, 2011.

Survivors include three sons, Brad (Lillian) Small and Chris Small, both of Convoy, and Greg (Diane) Small of Monroeville, Ind.; a brother, Joe Small of Monroeville; one sister, Eileen (Max) Bowman of Florida; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A brother, Dean Small, and one great-grandchild, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy, with the Rev. Dr. Jody Harr officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 29, at the funeral home.
