VWHS prom scheduled for this Saturday

The Van Wert High School Junior Class is hard at work this week constructing this year’s Junior-Senior Prom, with the theme: “Willy Wonka — A Night In The Chocolate Factory.” Juniors are inviting the public to the annual open house, which takes place Saturday, April 30, from 2-4 p.m. in the Van Wert Middle School Gymnasium.

The promenade will begin at 7 Saturday evening, and parents are asked to park in the far west parking lot on the middle school side of the complex and enter through the middle school gym entrance. Prom will follow from 8-11:30 p.m.

After prom activities have been planned and sponsored by the Van Wert Optimist Club and will take place at Olympic Lanes from 11:30 p.m.-2:30 a.m.
