Lois Jean Davies

Lois Jean Davies of Van Wert died at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Hearth & Home in Van Wert.

She was born December 4, 1922, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late J. Herbert and Bernice (Ringwald) Davies.

Survivors include three sisters, Mary Louise Voltz of Frankfort, Ind., and Shirley Harter and Marion Moorman, both of Van Wert; 11 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; and four great-great-nieces and nephews.

A sister, Phyllis Wuttke; three brothers-in-law, Bob Voltz, Paul Wuttke and Dale Harter; and a nephew, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the funeral home.
