3-vehicle injury accident

According to investigating troopers, several people were transported to Van Wert County Hospital for injuries received in a three-vehicle accident that occurred on Middle Point Road, just north of Ohio 116. The accident, which occurred just after 3 p.m. on Thursday, involved two minivans and a car. No further details were available for what was described as a chain-reaction accident. In addition to troopers from the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department deputies and first-responders from the Middle Point Fire and EMS Department were also at the scene.
