VW Youth Baseball opens season today

Van Wert Youth Baseball will have its official Opening Day today at Smiley and Jubilee parks.

Games will start at noon at both parks, with the Knights of Columbus Indians playing the First Federal Athletics at Smiley Park and the Van Wert Federal Astros against the Van Wert Optimist Reds at Jubilee.

Other games today include the following:

Smiley Park – Young’s Waste Service Yankees vs. the Greif Bros. Rangers at 1:45 p.m.

Jubilee Park – Van Wert Vision Cubs vs. Lee Kinstle GM Pirates at 1:45 p.m., and the Middle Point 1 Reds vs. the Van Wert Service Club Red Sox at 3:30 p.m.
