C’view JV softball team beats Versailles

The Crestview junior varsity softball team beat Versailles both games of their double header Saturday afternoon to close out their season.

In the first game, Brooke Bowen lead the Knight JVs by hitting a triple and a single, while Morgan McClure and Leigha Taylor each had two singles. Taylor also had two RBI.

In the second game, Courtney Grote threw a complete game, allowing only four hits and one run with six strikeouts. Offensively, Mariah Henry had a double and a single, and Brittany Helt, Darcci Swager and Taylor each added two singles.

The Lady Knights ended their season with a record of 12-2.
