Patrol holding vehicle inspections today

The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Van Wert County Fair Board, will again be holding voluntary motor vehicle inspections at the fairgrounds today, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

With the start of the vacation season ahead, all motorists are reminded to have their vehicles inspected for safety. The cost is free to the public and will consist of checking lights, turn signals, horn, tires, wipers, exhaust, emergency brake and driver’s license. A window tint meter will also be available for glass inspection.

The Patrol states that inspection of motor vehicles that use the public highways will make it safer for all Ohio residents.
