Public hearing set for apartment project

Van Wert City Council has scheduled a public hearing for 7 p.m. on Monday, May 23, to receive comments from the public concerning a proposed project to construct Westwood Senior Apartments.

Westwood Senior Apartments is a multi-unit senior living project being proposed by RLH Partners Inc. and RCS Construction on Westwood Drive north of CVS Pharmacy.

A document describing the proposed project is available for public inspection in Room 203 of the Municipal Building, 515 E. Main St. in Van Wert.

The public hearing is being held in City Council Chambers at the Municipal Building.
