Rita Anne Strukamp

Rita Anne Strukamp, 50, of Rockford, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011, at Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.

She was born July 19, 1960, in Van Wert, the daughter of Virginia (Houser) Strukamp, who survives in Rockford, and the late Elmer Strukamp.

Other survivors include two sons, Chad Strukamp of Rockford and William Black of Celina; a daughter, Alyssa Black of Rockford; a lifelong companion, Robert Black of Celina; two sisters, Teresa Strukamp of Rockford and Pamela (Randy) Severns of Mendon; one brother, Kevin (Lynette) Strukamp of Decatur, Ind.; a granddaughter; and one nephew.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
